Dear Kickstarter Friends,

I have been so excited working on this book for you all. 

Over the past few months, I have finished the physical illustrations, finalized words, digitized each page, worked with the press to select cover fabric, design a gold foil stamp, proof the pages, and more. The whole process has really been such a joy

I have been in constant talks with the local press to achieve our Christmas deadline, but was  just told that their printing press needs repair and is out of commission for a few weeks, so they won’t be able to finish the book in time for Christmas. I am devastated to know that these won’t be able to be under your trees, and wanted to let you know as soon as I could.

In brainstorming ways to make it up to you, I thought I could mail a small certificate that you can give as a placeholder:

If you would like one of these for each book you have ordered, let me know below and I will get them in the mail this week. Also, if you ordered an original or a print with your book, I will ship those out before Christmas.

I am hopeful to have these books in your hands in the beginning of the new year. I am excited and proud of how they are turning out.
